Oh, yes, I am on a roll. And even though it appears that the folks at Young House love have lead me astray when it comes to how easy it is to remove a few wall tiles...well, I am trusting them again.
See, they ordered this here rug for their kitchen. And I just ordered it for mine. In green.
I am about 20% confident it will be okay. Reviews say it's thin...and it's really cheap. But, guh, the Flor tiles that I have never liked are kind of sucking my soul. They are dirty, and dull, and just blah. I need some color. But it is a kitchen, so really, it's not like anything I buy is going to last long term. It's going to be matted and dirty and gross.
For the record, I did peruse the Dash & Albert cotton rugs. since they seem to be the go-to cotton utility rug among the stylish set (yes, I just put all those words together like that). But, meh, nothing really grabbed me. Too stripey. Too beachy. I did like the Dwell persimmon striped number below, but, too much orange with my lovely Wegners. If it were green I'd be all over that shit.
