The really big deal.

Okay, I hinted here about what I might have gotten for Christmas. Honestly, I would have shared sooner if:

A) it seemed more real, and

B) I felt like my kitchen or camera skills were up to the task of highlighting this loveliness.

But, then, all cannot be perfect...I'll just have to show you them again and again and again as I whip the kitchen into shape around them. Somewhere in blogland, angels are singing. Mid century modern angels. Here, let me show you the other one...

You can tell it's love, right? I wonder if I will now stop taking note of every picture with a Wegner Wishbone chair in it? No more saying, "of course that room is lovely, they have those chairs?" What on earth will I do with my spare time?

*Hubby gets extra points for the surprise aspect, imagine going to get a coffee on Christmas morning and finding these?

**Hubby gets double extra points for saying nothing when, week before Christmas, I convinced the kid she was ready to be done with her special chair and old enough for a regular chair. Yeah, not great timing...poor guy now needs to get me a 3rd one!
